Qantas daily to Jo’burg, adds A380 services

Australian airline Qantas has confirmed it will move to a daily schedule on its Sydney – Johannesburg route from 21 September 2010.

Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce said the South African run was a key route for the airline and the addition of a seventh service will provide Qantas customers with greater flexibility for travel between Australia and South Africa.

Meanwhile, the carrier says it will launch daily A380 services between Melbourne and London and offer six A380 services per week between Melbourne and Los Angeles to coincide with deliveries of new A380 aircraft.
