Unite wins BA strike appeal

The UK Court of Appeal has lifted the injunction against British Airways' cabin crew strike.

Technically, cabin crew can go strike now, but the Unite union says there will be no strike before Monday - and only then if talks between it and BA fail.

BA has one further option, it can appeal to the Supreme Court.

BA originally appealed the strike on a technicality, specifically how Unite informed its members of the earlier strike ballot result.

Two of the three judges backed Unite's appeal.
