Heathrow faces more strikes

Strikes at London Heathrow Airport could see nearly 800 staff strike across 10 dates in May in a move the Unite union says will cause "widespread disruption".

UK Border Force officers currently are striking until Thursday, May 2, but the new actions will impact arriving rather than departing passengers.

Specifically, refuelling workers will strike on May 4, May 5 and May 6 over conditions for new staff.

Unite workers across several departments will then take part in strikes from May 7 until May 13, affecting security and passenger services.
