Alliance puts a natty Fokker up for sale

As it makes a transition to Embraer jets, Australia's Alliance Airlines has appointed Fokker Aircraft Services to market a VIP-configured Fokker 70 that's stored at Rockhampton in Queensland.

Alliance bought it for EUR3.7 million and left it configured with 12 VIP seats in the front section of the cabin and 12 business-class seats in a standard 2-2 layout behind.

"The aircraft has been meticulously maintained throughout its life and boasts a very low utilisation. This represents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a large-size corporate jet with unique outfitting," Fokker Aircraft Services said.
