Airlines switch routes as Israel ponders attack response

On Saturday, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon temporarily closed their airspace, while Israel and Iran imposed restrictions on theirs.

Australia's Qantas, Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Germany's Lufthansa all made route changes.

The route changes add to complexity and cost challenges that began after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Israel has threatened retaliation for the Iran attack.
