Scoot now has an E190 in its fleet

Singapore Airlines (SIA) subsidiary Scoot has taken delivery of its first Embraer E190-E2, making it the first airline in the Asia-Pacific region to operate the type.
 
The aircraft is the first of nine E190-E2s for Scoot and the third aircraft type in its fleet, alongside Boeing 787-8/9s and Airbus A320ceo/neo family aircraft.
 
Scoot's E190 is configured with 112 economy seats and at this stage will first fly from Singapore to Krabi, Thailand on May 7 and afterwards to Hat Yai, also Thailand.
 
The carrier says it believes the two-by-two seating on the Embraer "will be welcomed by passengers”.
