European carrier KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has unveiled the SkyEnergy consortium set up jointly by the airline, North Sea Petroleum and Spring Associates and has operated a test flight with one engine of a B747 running on a fuel mixture consisting of a 50/50 mix of green jet fuel and traditional petroleum-derived jet fuel.
