'About a dozen' injured in Transair crash  

A Boeing 737-300 aircraft chartered by Air Senegal and owned by local carrier Transair left about a dozen people injured, four seriously, when it caught fire and skidded off a runway at Blaise Diagne airport, Dakar in Senegal on Thursday.


It was headed for the Malian capital Bamako and had 78 passengers on board.

An inquiry is under way to determine the cause of the incident.
