‘Heath Ledger: A Life in Pictures’ exhibition opens in WA

A world-first exhibition about the life, work and talent of Perth-born actor turned international movie star Heath Ledger opens at the Art Gallery of Western Australia this weekend.

 

Presented in partnership with the WA Museum, Heath Ledger: A Life in Pictures features objects and photographs from international collections and Ledger's personal archives.

Visitors will see for the first time the Joker and Nurse Hemming costumes from The Dark Knight (2008); the iconic shirts of Ennis del Mar and Jack Twist from Brokeback Mountain (2005) and Ledger's Best Supporting Actor Oscar, BAFTA and other awards.

The free entry exhibition will run from 14 October 2017 to 29 January 2018.
