Voyages taps government's jobs funding

Nearly 700 jobs and traineeships in tourism and hospitality are being created for indigenous Australians across the country, with a A$6.7 million grant provided under the government's Tailored Assistance Employment Grants program.

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia received the funding to provide 420 employment places and 270 traineeships at its three locations: Ayers Rock Resort in the Northern Territory, the Mossman Gorge Centre in Queensland and Home Valley Station in Western Australia.
